They didn't fix it right, following the TSB to the letter, the first time.

Edit: I checked my original post and it was at about 30,000km and 60,000km that the brakes where repaired, free of charge.

my '09 brakes have been "fixed" several times at the dealer. the previous owner took it in twice for the TSB. first they installed the dust shields, then they resurfaced the front rotor and installed new pads.

i have taken it in three times for the brakes in less than 13k kms. first they did nothing. second time they replaced the front rotors and "deglazed" the pads. last week they once again resurfaced the front rotors. now they say its my rear brakes - which are almost worn (i'm at ~50k kms). i was told that if my rear pads still had 6mm+ remaining then they would have replaced my rear rotors under warranty. but since they are nearing worn they call it a wear and tear issue.

i'll probably have to re + re the rear brakes on my own dime, but of course not at the dealer. they want $479 for rotors & pads installed. the Akebono ProACT pads look good so i'll probably go with those and OEM rotors for the rear.
