Time for new brakes: Best Rotors and Pads ???

All,

The time has come for me to replace my sport rotors and pads. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what brands to purchase?

I would love to have something similiar to stock, with the possibility of more bite and less dusting.

Thanks in advance!

Hawks are pretty popular. You'll definitely notice a better bite and pricing is probably on par with OEM Nissan pads too.

a lot of people go with the stoptech rotors. I have mine for sale currently if you would like a set of stoptech slotted rotors and hawk HPS pads :-)

I just did mine with Adams Rotors and Posi-Quiet pads. So far so good.

Someone posted a very favorable review on here not too long about about stoptech pads. I ran hawk hps pads on my old camaro and wasn't too happy with the results for daily driving. I'm not a very aggressive braker. Perhaps it is a performance pad, but at the temps present under normal driving, the bite seemed weaker than stock.

Get the ceramic one ( yellow color) if you are getting hawk pads, low dust and low noise

EBC rotors are excellent if you don't mind the platting for imports which are dimpled and slotted which reduces cracking from cross drilling. Red stuff pads are also really favorably reviewed from Autoanything (500 or so reviews).

Stoptech is prone to ring rust but are also favorably reviewed.

I ended up buying Stillen Jhook as the pattern was borrowed from rally cars. I haven't installed them yet but will post a review along with the steal matrix pads.
