Just got my car alignment and now having MAJOR problems!!!!

Hi guys. I just had my car lowered a few weeks ago and I just got done installing the camber kit for all four wheels. I went out to Express Tires to get my car aligned and RIGHT after my alignment I notice my ride got really rough!! Every dip I hit or uneven road I drive on my car would jerk to the left and my car handle will shake like crazy! I brought it back to the shop and they blamed it on my back wheels. My car was PERFECTLY fine before I had it aligned. The moment I got it aligned thats when everything went wrong. The ride is so rough and uncomfortable. What is wrong with my car?? Is it the alignment that they did? Did they do something wrong? Do i have to realign it?? Please help

Your ride shoulda been bad after you installed your camber kits since it probably messed up your toe. Do you have a spec sheet? Find a better alignment shop.

I remember reading about alignments. Can't remember if it was caster or camber that would cause the wheel to get knocked out of your hands like that.

Like Casey said, find a better alignment place. "Express Tires," to me, doesn't sound like a place that would know anything about camber kits and proper specs when lowered. I might be wrong--but then again, you probably wouldn't be having this problem right now if they did.

look at the front camber. left is -1.4 and right is -2.2. that's partial of the problem. then look at the rear toe, it's not even in the green zone.

another thing, did your friend got her toe bolt installed along with the rear camber kit? if not, that explains why they couldn't get the toe back in specs but the camber back in specs no issues.

Looks like they didnt bother adjusting the front camber. You have to specifically tell them that you have an aftermarket front camber kit and sometimes you need to show them how to adjust it. Most shops look up alignment instructions and see that front camber is not adjustable. So they dont even attempt to. If you installed the camber kit, tell them to adjust it into spec. If you have the SPC front camber, the caster is also adjustable.

The rear toe is ridiculous. Toe is more important than camber in terms of handling and tire wear. If they cannot get both into spec, they should make camber more negative. That will give more room for toe to get in spec.

Just like those above me said, that toe is terrible and definitely causing some problems. The rest of the alignment doesn't look good either. Lots of them are off. Looks like you found a shop that knows nothing about alignments and isn't even good enough to just make everything fit between the lines...

+1

If the rear toe was in degrees it would be close, it's in INCHES!
3/4 on the left, and 1/2" on the right.
The right front camber is also whacked.

Here's what happened, they only made adjustments where they saw
turnbuckle adjustments, like the front tie rod ends for toe, and the rear
camber arms.

Caster is fine at 6 degrees, with 1/2 more on the right, compensates for road crowns.

Stop driving it, and get it fixed now.
