New Springss!

So i bought a set of Nismo 370Z springs to hold me over until i get enough for my coils. didnt spend much on them at all. Yesterday ii finally had a chance to put on the rear springs and wow! over an inch drop from stock height!

I have to pick up a spring compressor this week and do the fronts over the weekend, so for now the car looks a little ... odd.

i dont have any FULL shots of before and after.. i totally blanked on taking those. but here is a shot of the measurements before and after

Edit: Pictures are on an EMPTY TANK (10mi till empty) so height is higher then with full tank. i didnt put that factor into place when installing and taking the pictures. New pictures going up today of the after with full tank of gas! WOOPSYY lol

Before: Just over 28"

After: just Under 27"

Entire car Before: (older pic)

Shot of rear After :

nice...let me know how the ride quality is after you get the front installed also. I was also considering buying these in the classifieds.

So far i can tell the back seems more planted and a little stiffer from the factory springs. But after the fronts go on ill post up on hoe the ride is

I thought most ppl install the fronts (off the 370z) and ditch the rears...

i hadn't done much research about the 370Z springs on G's before i bought them. i just figured a quick and lower cost fix to my 4x4 issue until i have enough for coil overs lol

this weekend the fronts go on so ill be able to give a real feeling on the ride difference and what not.

Edit: from that post, i can see he used the standard 370z springs, whereas i am using the 370 Nismo springs which are stiffer and shorter as the gismo Z is i believe 1/2 inch lower the the standard

They were front 370Z sport springs...I know, I bought them from him and put them on my previous X
You cant use the 370Z sport rear springs on the 07+ G sedan. They are the wrong size, or so I'm told.

^ G37S, you can see it in his pics (trunk) and it has BBK
Maybe you have a full tank and he's on E
Also, check both sides, they can vary a bit.

Edit...OK Movinon, you're right. I just looked up mine (stock) and they were also 27 5/8" and the fronts about 28".
Weird

The nismo springs fit perfectly where the factory G sedan springs were..? i didnt have any issues at all with it

The springs like most will fit/install just fine, its just that the difference in the drop between the front and rears will likely leave you with a much larger gap in the front.
