Camber question....

hey guys,

since im in the verge of ordering my coilovers, i was also lookin and shopping around for front and rear camber kits (spc or eibach kits)... however, i had a very reputable shop tell me, as i was shopping around, that i didnt need a rear kit since our cars have some give in the rears and there is no need for rears... i went back to converse with a diff shop rep (same shop) and he said tht as long as the offsets are for my particular G, then no camber kit is needed at all... this shop doesnt seem to be on the same page so i traveled to a better and well known shop... (vendors usually go through this warehouse for orders) this bigger and even more reputable shop told me that i didnt need front camber kits just the rear kit... anywhere i go i seem to hear something different... from what i have researched and know is that as long as the car is dropped on coils, then fronts and rears are usually needed... can someone just shine in on who and what is correct...

that was long... lol... guess the question is... do i need front and rear camber kits??? or just fronts??? or just rears?? please help clarify as i wanna get the coils and camber kits done at the same time....

i should also mention that the coilovers will be Tein Flex...

Thanks...

I needed them in the rear with my stock sport 19s. I didn't need them in the front but got them anyway because with the fronts in spec there was little or no adjustment left.

Ok look, depends on how low you go. If you're like me and slammed, yes you need front and rear kits. If you're barely dropped like on eibachs you can pass with 0 kits. The fronts stock you cannot adjust and need a arms. The rears you can barely adjust too. And wheel offset what? Lol if you run a low offset wheel them you need more negative camber. Which is probably not what you want. But as I said it all depends on how low you go. The lower the more camber you will have.

ok... got you... so what do you think, if i drop on coils, which i just ordered (Tein Flex), and get rid of gap with stock 19s for now? Camber or no camber kits? i would just have to see once the coils are installed... that would be the best thing to do right???

Drop it first at the height you want, then see if you're far off factory specs
