For those sedan owners that DIY'ed their sway bar install, did you have to drop the exhaust like in the directions or were you able to maneuver the bar out??

Thanks!

^I'm wondering the same thing (for the coupe). Also wondering if it is possible to drop the whole muffler at the hangers instead of breaking the seals. i would rather avoid the potential to introduce any leaks and have to buy new gaskets, if possible. If no one knows, I'll find out after the bars arrive..

I did the install and I removed the exhaust behind the x pipe. I have an ARK exhaust and it was all up in the way. Install was easy only took about three hours. I brook off one of the bolts for the exhaust brackets and it took longer to fix that than the install did.

Take a peek under your car. You should be able to see the connection points (end links/bushings) around the spash shield and maybe see if something isn't connected correctly???

^^^^+1 on that and check the exhaust that could make it vibrate. Did you notice it right away or did it take a while before it started vibrating? They might have over torqued a bolt and now its broken and thats why it's vibrating.

You could have broken a toe bolt, I don't know if that would couse it to vibrate but I would check it out before diriving anywhere.

I had to drop the exhaust when I upgraded my rear sway bar in my '10 G37X, but I think I read that some owners didn't have too. I had my rear wheels on ramps (I didn't use jack stands) so maybe that has something to do with it?

I remember that after several attempts I managed to finally be able to maneuver the OE rear bar out with the exhausts still in place, but then I couldn’t figure out how to get the new sway rear bar in place (at least not without scratching the hell out of it or damaging something under my car). So I just dropped the rear pipes of the exhaust and mufflers and it was an easy install after that.
