Exclamation Brake Judder TSB Help!

So at around 10,000 miles, I started to get really bad brake judder and the brakes squealed badly when the car reversed, and my dealership resurfaced my rotors to solve the problem.

It didnt work and the judder started again a few thousand miles later and the brakes started squealing in reverse the following week.

So I just took my car in for service and had the brake judder TSB performed. I just got it back and I noticed that my brake travel for my brake pedal significantly increased.

Now to brake, I need to press the brake pedal in 50% of the way before the car even starts to brake. To brake quickly, I need to press it in 75% and it requres more force than my original brakes did.

For those of you who had the TSB performed, is this normal?

The first 25% of my brake travel doesnt do anything, except turn on the brake lights in the rear of the car. I can essentially drive around with my brake pressed 25% down and it does nothing.

So I drove around like an idiot this weekend to bed in the new brake pads a little more. On the highway, I did a bunch of 80 mph to 20 mph hard breaking, accelerated, and did it again.

The brakes now start to bite at 50% vs the 75% when I got the car. I guess the dealership didnt bed in the brakes. At 25% the car starts to slow down a little so its getting better.

I might make another highway trip one night this week to bed in the brakes a little more and see if it makes a difference.
