I love my Stance as well. Ride is way better than stock. At the time of purchase (April), price diff between the two was 250.

I was contemplating between these 2 companies, then pulled the trigger and went with the BC Racing Coils......heard great things about these, and my vendor gave me a price I could resist!

Sustec is prbably the more comfortable of the two (most similar to OEM sport) while still increasing handling prowness. Im running them and have zero complaints

I think I might go with Tanabe, since they're half the price of KW's and they seem good quality with few bad reviews. SOLD!

Forgive my newbness.. but do I really need dampening? That's just for giving the wheel some 'angle' to it right? Or is that camber.. Eventually with the offsets I'm going for (32mm, 45mm) I shouldn't need dampening?

No you do not need dampening, however it is nice to have if you ever plan to do something other than lowering, or wish to have more adjustability to your setup. Regardless which do you end up taking, the good this is that the shocks have been matched with springs taking into consideration the height adjustment settings.

Dampening on the shock absorber is nothing more than the stiffness of the shock during shock travel under force. A soft setting will cause the shock to easily compress where a hard setting will cause the shock to compress at a much slower rate than the soft setting using the same force. All you are adjusting is how hard or soft the dampening is on the shock.

What gives the angle/camber to the wheel is the use of lower camber arms on the rear, or adjustable upper arms on the front of the car which are entirely different components from the shock absorbers and springs. Lowering the car will alter the camber settings.

I opted for the Tanabe Sustec Pros S-0C, however you can get the BC Racing Coils which are adjustable for not a whole lot more. But if all that you are looking for is to have adjustable ride height, you will be fine with the Tanabes.
