Update, so after about a week with the Eibachs, I will say there are a couple downsides. Car looks good and rides well most of the time. But driving at a fair speed over bad pavement causes the suspension to bang on occasion and also bounce. Nothing too terrible, but nothing great either. My advice, watch the road and your speed and stay on good pavement!

did u install the springs urself? if so, did u use spring compressor? have u checked the mounts to see if they are loose? sounds like all those things, i learned that back in HS when I installed my spring like that... huge mistake. and if u can wait till summer, JIC Magic is dropping their coilovers for the X's.

I had the springs installed, spring compressor was used for the front springs. Would the mounts come loose for some reason? What would cause that?

You mean were they compressed? Good question, they were tightened in the air but they did use a thing to raise compress the spring. That should only apply to the rear right, since the front us compressed on the strut.

if the bolts to the struts w tightened in the air and not on a flat, solid surface, they are going to be loose.

Problem with that is that there aren't many companies who have access to a G37x sedan to test fit since most of these companies are on the west coast. I heard Swift is working on one, but we'll see what's that like when it comes out.

In reality, it's not bad at all. A little rough over bad pavement. I have no regrets.

So with this Eibach set for the X, there is no need for a camber kit?

Mine too. Lately I've been thinking about dumping the eibachs and going with some coilovers. I'd loved to get the Tanabe Sustec Pros. They make them for the G37 sedan, but the website doesn't differentiate between whether they're for the rwd or x or both. Anyone have any info?
