The x and the xS have the same suspension so the xS is no lower. Just wondering why so many are looking to drop an x? I can see it if you want to FI and you want to limit wheel slip, but it seems most, like me, buy an x for snow, and the higher ride height helps that. I guess if you have mountainous drives, and only plan to use it in fair weather, or if you want additional rain traction it does make sense. I like the look of dropped vehicles too, but it seems like a lot of the function on a dropped x is lost. I know a lot of forum members would rather stare at the sun than see wheel gap.

I have a 2012xS coupe up here in Montreal, Canada. They came with 225/40/19s. If I go with the Eibach G37X lowering kit 1.2" drop front and .8" drop in the rear, do I need a camber kit?
