Eibach Pro kits and shock/strut?

If I want to lower the G37S with Eibach pro kit do I need to get brand new shock/strut? The car has around 40K miles.

Thanks

anyone know by how much lowering springs decrease the life of stock struts? ive been reading all over that they wear the stock struts down much quicker than OEM springs.

You will never get an answer on this. Why wont you? Because nobody, as far as i know, has had any issues with premature wear on their oem struts due to lowering springs. Especially not on Eibach PK.

i heard bad things about Eibach couple of days ago. Hopefully the ride quality is not bad compare to stock.

you feel the bumps more, the ride is definitely harsher, I track my car so that's what i like about the feedback through the suspension

Even as a daily driver I put up with the harsher ride (which I think isn't all that much harsher to be honest) for the better stance/look

I dont find the ride to be harsh at all. Slightly stiffer and more road response than stock....of course. But just riding around, you would never know the car was lowered. Ive never had anybody ride in my car and be like wow whats wrong with your suspension.

Mine were installed in Feb 07 and almost 50K miles later, I'm still on the original factory shocks.
