odd sound form back left wheel

I have bc coilovers and i have a wierd sound which just started. It sounds like a cap off a snapple beverage when you open it (just a bit less high pitched), it only happens over fairly noticable bumps. any ideas?

UPDATE, im not sure it is my coilover. I did tighten the spring and the reduced the noise a bit. But i have a feeling it could be my sway bar. I have hotchkis so they are significantly thicker in the back. When i hit a bump that goes across the road (so both rear tires compress at once) there is no clunking. But if i hit the bump just on the left side it makes the clunking noise... Would that be the sway bar?
