I have bc coilovers and i have a wierd sound which just started. It sounds like a cap off a snapple beverage when you open it (just a bit less high pitched), it only happens over fairly noticable bumps. any ideas?
not rubbing for sure, im super tucked right now, i tighted up the spring in the back, i guess we will see tomorrow, but not the back left side is a bit higher than the right >.<. Shoulda bought stance coilovers!
it JUST started though, got about 1500km on them with no sounds till today. much be the -30c weather, ill see what it sounds like with more preload in the back
UPDATE, im not sure it is my coilover. I did tighten the spring and the reduced the noise a bit. But i have a feeling it could be my sway bar. I have hotchkis so they are significantly thicker in the back. When i hit a bump that goes across the road (so both rear tires compress at once) there is no clunking. But if i hit the bump just on the left side it makes the clunking noise... Would that be the sway bar?
