Suspension Problem?

Hey guys, I have a quick question...hopefully someone can help me! I have a 2008 G37 with 24k miles. Lately I have been hearing a noise from the back right tire when I go over bumps. It sounds like the tire is moving up and down or something. Anyone experienced this or have any suggestions before I take it in to the dealer?

You on all stock suspension?

What kind of noise? Metal on metal? Squeeking? Does it sound like the tire rubbing? Are you bouncing around all all over normal driving? "Tire moving up and down"?

A little more info please. Are you lowered? Wider wheels/tires? If so, you may just have a tire rubbing the inside if the fender. If not, take off the wheel and look for damaged or loose suspension components. Try to see if you can see where a moving part is making contact with something it's not supposed to be touching.

Stock suspension.

The car is perfectly fine on nicely paved roads. Only when I hit bumps and potholes on some roads, the right back tire makes a clunking noise.

Not a thing has been added to the car. There are no moving parts under the car as far as I can tell. Someone suggested it had to do with the strut, but I have no idea what that is.

the strut would be your shocks. have the dealer check it out and get it fixed under warranty.
