Slightly older thread, but I have discovered the same issue. How would resurfacing "fix" anything? It would only be a band aid until the rotors warp again, and faster the next time since they'll be thinner after the resurfacing.

100% correct.
I think I'm just going to deal with it for now. No reason to put upgraded slotted rotors on a lease. Well, at least for now:
Sounds good. Someone mentioned a TSB, but no TSB number. Is there really a TSB for this? I would have thought they'd place *different* rotors on them altogether if that's the case. Please post back in this thread once you get it resolved!

Absolutely!
I'm not even going to get into all the ways a resurface only approach is the wrong way to "fix" this issue...it is definitely just a band aid!
If rotors warp, or should I say if rotors from a specific make or model warp, especially with regularity, the problem is systemic! The equipment needs to be replaced, otherwise the conditions that caused the initial warping still exist!

Even just a simple plastic piece that attaches to the lower control arm to direct air to the rotors would work. That is the way Porsche does it in the 911s
