G-37 brake failure

I recently had an wreck in my G-37 where I rear ended a car on the expressway. When I picked the car up from the repair shop and drove away I found that the brake pedal felt "wrong"... the pedal itself was lower than before and very stiff.
Taking the car right back in they found the break pedal assembly was damaged.
Question anyone have any idea if failure of the break pedal assembly could be a cause of an accident or a result?
Can anyone direct me?

So you crashed your car and after it was fixed the brake pedal felt "wrong" and you're asking if that could have been the cause of the accident?

Makes no sense.... did the brake pedal feel "wrong" before the accident?

^^ agree. You should feel that if it was like that before the accident. The damage might be from the accident or the shop.

A listed Safety feature on the G37 direct from infinitiusa.com "Slide away brake pedal assembly - The slide-away brake pedal assembly moves brake pedal away from the driver in certain frontal collisions"

It's not been reported before on this forum that I'm aware of.

G37 Xs Brake Pedal Assembly Failure

I have had my brake pedal assembly break and fail 3 times on me but have not had any collisions during the failures. My G37 is a 2012 G37Xs. Dealership is claiming this total failure is my fault and not a bad/faulty part. I disagree. Pedal goes to floor completely and does not return. Accelerator is cut to just around 1400 RPMS max (even if accelerator is depressed fully). Brake pedal effort increases substantially (very dangerous) and car will start without any need to depress the brake pedal.
