My dealer resurfaced my front rotors and it went away. They claimed it was warped, although it never felt like they were when I was driving. It was good for about 2-3 weeks, but it's starting to come back (I think). I heard a chirp while backing up the other day. Still, it's much better than before.

I would hope the solution isn't to cut the rotors every single time, you're going to run below the minimum threshold if you keep that up.

 

I have 9K miles now and I now have those issues. I didn't have it at the beginning of my ownership...

 

yup, I'm in the squeeky brake club too. Makes me want to spend the $$ to get my cross-drilled rotors and new pads sooner than later.

I've got a non-sport and started noticing the squeaks today... around 2900 miles.

 

If I call my dealer and complain, you're telling me that they will charge to fix this?

 

No, they don't have a clue as to how to fix it, so they may try something but it will be under warranty.

I think Nissan should contact Akebono (brake system vendor) and get this fixed. As you could imagine this would be a costly recall for something that is "just an annoyance" so it will probably never happen.
