Knocking after eibach pro kit

After I had my springs installed there was some knocking when I would go over speed bumps or small holes. The shop said it's normal. It's been over three weeks and it's still doing it, just not as loud. Is this normal or is there a solution?

Forgot to add that I jacked the car up and checked all the nuts and bolts to make sure nothing was loose. Everything seems ok...

By knocking do you mean creaking/rattling? I've had that too, put the car on the lift, checked everything. Brought it back down and it was fine. Apparently the springs weren't sitting right.

Yes, rattling is a better description. So u didn't have to tighten anything up? The lifting fixed the problem?

No tightening. Everything was good when double checked. The explanation was that sometimes the spring isn't seated right, so lifting it off, taking the weight off them. Then lowering it back down did the trick.

Good luck.

Mine was doing the same thing and lifting the car and set the car down again did the trick as well.

Yeah, NOT normal!

I had the same problem on my front driver side after backyard installing my Eibachs as well.

Had it checked at a shop and the mechanic said it wasnt set well on the bushings and the bolt wasn't torqued to specs. (Didn't have a torque wrench)

I suggest not to go back to that shop who said that was normal

Spring may not be preloaded or seated correctly, piston rod nut is not tightened all the way which will cause top hat to rattle. Take it back.
