noob question abt 4WAS
Hi guys, i was reading through the threads here and learnt that people seems to have a lotta questions on coils that will fit an AWD.
Now, wat got me thinking is this, i am getting the Nissan skyline coupe from Japan, and i am getting the type SP, it is stated that it has 4 wheel-active-steer (4WAS)... does it mean its AWD?
And since i am thinking of lowering the car... will i be on the same boat as those people here who are looking for compatible coils?
Or should i just downgrade my reservation(getting my car next feb) of getting the type SP and get a lower grade RWD skyline coupe?
Thanks ya'll

AWD is only offered in the US model and is known as a G37x
Don't let the dealer fool you and tell you its an AWD and comes with better 0-60 time (that's what they were doing at my local dealer in the UAE to justify the price)

Thats good news for me then... since i'm a little confused abt the difference, thanks for clearing that up guys.
btw, do you guys know how the k-sport airtech suspension system fare compared to coilovers?
its said in the website that its different from air runners and that it doesnt compromise in safety and performance...
wats the difference between the airtech and other adjustables coilovers/suspensions?

Some will tell you that you have to install a different camber kit w/ 4WAS equipped G's but I have 4WAS on my '09 and installed KWv3's, Hotchkis Sways, and SPC camber front & rear) with no issues.

Thanks for the info, i'm really new to this whole suspension thing, but from wat i read, its not necessary to install camber kits if you are on coils...right?
Or is it recommended that you have the camber kits installed?
