2-Pc Lightweight Rotors for Akebono Brakes

Anyone have any experience with 2-pc Rotors on their G's? I've been looking into the options and I found a company looking to offer lighweight, 2-pc rotor for the factory sport brake package (with Akebono calipers) on our cars. Right now only the front rotors are in the works. But they have plans to offer rear rotors in the future as well. The stock rotors on our cars are tanks, they weigh in at a whopping 30 lbs EACH!, and they are claiming that the 2-pc rotors will save an estimated 11 lbs per corner of unsprung weight. That's 22 lbs savings just by switching out the front rotors! Wow!!!

Hehe... I know.. I f'ed up. I originally wanted to post in this section but couldn't find it. I'm used to G35Driver where they have a separate Brake Tech section under each car model.
