I have an M45 and just bought these calipers. They are not on my car yet. So if I get in on this group buy, I could just send him my calipers and get them done without putting the core deposit down right? So just $300 plus shipping of $30?

Mike does great work! He's local to me and a member of the GA G&Z Club. Prolly having him do mine soon as well.

are new seals needed once they are removed for the powder coating? I've been told that once removed they will not seal 100% and new seals would be needed. How true is this?

You won't need anything man. Mike knows exactly what he is doing. Taking apart the caliper only has two o-rings you have to worry about. They go back in place easily though. I have seen it done.

Got my calipers done by Mike. He did a great job. Now I just need to get them put on. How much you think a shop will charge to get these put on? Here are some pics

Since this is direct swap and assuming you are going to reuse the OEM brakelines, then this is really a pretty easy thing to do yourself if mechanically inclined. If not and unless you can find a buddy or shadetree mechanic, then about $350 give or take depending on where you live. That should include flush and quality brake fluid.

Now keep in mind that prices will vary a lot and I am sure that someone is going to post up saying that is too high and they got it done for $9.99 and a 6-pack hence my shadetree mechanic option.

Good luck.

I found someone that will do it for me for under $200. This setup is actually going on my M45 and it still is pretty much a direct swap except the rear splash/dust shield needs to be trimmed. I should have them on this weekend so I'll take pics and post them. Thanks!

I contacted mike today to inquire about doing another group buy. I haven't heard anything yet. Anyone know him?
