Any mandatory additions w/ Springs??

Im deciding between the tanabe lowering springs and the eibach pro lowering springs, however I wanted to know if there are any additional mods that I need to invest in to supplement the springs or the ride of the car. Help?

Rear camber kit if you want your tires to last.

You should be good with just an alignment on Eibachs, Tanabe might ask for a rear camber kit since the back drops even lower.. If you want to be safe though, get the camber kit anyways

get spacers to fix that offset since you will get a tucked look with the drop

depending on how low, you'll more than likely need a camber kit along with an allignment

Camber kit, spacers, alignment. Shocks/struts if you have the $$$. Or just get coilovers.

I just eibachs installed yesterday, plan to get it aligned in a week or so - and I'm sure this sounds lame - but what are spacers? and what do they do?

Spacers (as the name suggests lol) spaces out your wheels from the wheel hub.

Here's what they look like:

Here's a pic of them installed:

Usually used to provide more clearance from the brakes, larger track width, flush the wheels with the fendors (check out pix of my wheels)

^+1 those versions btw have the studs built into them. There are versions that include their own sets of studs replacing the stock ones.

Mandatory: Nothing.

Good idea: Rear camber kit.

Good looks: 245/275 setup and 10 or 15 mm spacers depending on how much negative camber you wish to run and if you want to trim for clearance.

Completely optional: Turbo.
