I decided on purchasing the Circuit Sport front strut tower brace because it was a 1 piece unit and was less costly than the GT Spec brace, but it looks like that adjustability is need for many G owners.

If you have a CAI or any aftermarket intake with hard upper pipes this brace will not fit around the intake pipes. I got one pipe to fit right against the brace but that's still no good b/c it's metal on metal.

Attempting to get a full refund from FRsport.com and wanted to warn fellow G owners thinking about getting this..

I doubt it clears the Still CAI either, or the Takeda SRI, etc.

 

Hmmm that's weird bro, I could have sworn I saw this strut bar with the Injen CAI combo at SEMA, let me see if I dig up the pic...

Different intake pipes than the CAI...

I tried it for over an hour to get it to fit around the pipes and it wasn't happening

 

Even the pic is really tight clearance and the engine is going to move.

These should fit SRI's but the way the Injen CAI pipes jut out towards the fenders make a 1 piece bar impossible to fit....looks like it's GT-spec for me.

Might fit Stillen CAI since their piping looks a bit straighter..

 

i suspected this from the initial pictures i'd seen of the bar. you just confirmed my suspicion. sorry you had to deal with it, but thank you.
