Stoptech and Rotora OEM Replacement Rotors

Below is a picture of the OEM replacement rotor from Stoptech. It looks identical to the rotors in the Rotora application guide and I know a few of you have the Rotora front rotors so post up an actual picture and let's see. Both Stoptech and Rotora are quoting delays on the rear rotors and they sure look the same to me, so wondering if they are made at the same foundry. And if they are, then those of us waiting on rear rotors from Stoptech or Rotora could go with whoever is first to get them on the market.

Andy @ HPAuto just answered my question. Here is pic of the Rotora OEM rotor from one of his customers. Close, but not the same drill / slot pattern.

If it is, then post up a bigger picture so we can quit squinting.

This is what an Infiniti parts man told me:

"Rotora Rotors in my opinion are way over priced, stoptech should be releasing there own rotors in a few weeks and those are just as good. All the rotors and calipers are made by the same company, just different logos are branded on them and have different requirements by the company."

I agree. Not seeing much of a price difference. At this point, I would go with who could deliver vs. small price difference if they were the same pattern. Now I am stuck waiting on Stoptech....oh well....need to work on my patience. I guess I will just have to see what else I can find on your website that I just got to have.

They are not the same design. The rotoras have more holes and slots than the stoptech, but the stoptech are almost 200 cheaper. I ordered stoptech. Just need the rears now.

Yep it was concluded they were different in post #2.

I am waiting on the Stoptech rears too, but not getting much hope from Stoptech direct. One of the sales manager sent me an email about 2 weeks or so ago stated it would be 2 more months. However, I was copied on another email where they are internally asking for a more firm date. I will post info if I get an answer.

My buddy use to be an authorized distributor for Stoptech rotors and he told me that alot of the rotors would crack and it was like warranty galore with the Stoptech rotors. Anyone hear the same? I actually have Stoptech rotors on my girls Honda Fit and I think they are awesome.
