Hotchkis, Eibach, GT Spec Initial Reaction . . .

So on Saturday I went to get a few items installed at Ampd. Hotchkis rear sway bar (front was installed during the test-fit), Eibach Pro-Kit, and GT Spec front strut-tower brace. I was going to get some SS brakelines also, but it turned out Goodridge had some issue with their lines and will fix it before shipping anymore out.

I got there at a little after 11AM, and picked up my car at 3PM. Now since I did all of those install at once, I am not sure which one made the difference (probably a little of each), but my car is SO MUCH BETTER NOW!!! I LOVE IT. Body roll is A LOT LESS. I am now able to punch on the gas earlier while making a turn, since I don’t feel my (car’s) *** wanting to slide away. I won’t say the car is quite up to my old Evo’s handling, but I am so happy that my car actually listens to me while turning now!!! I have my rear sway on the medium setting, might turn it up a notch after a while to play with it.

Thanks to Andy, Hotchkis, Lou (who btw, was very helpful and knowledgeable during our conversation when I went to pick up my car) and Jet(sp?) for all of their help!!!!

o, and I forgot about the SPC rear camber arms . . . probably because it didn't contribute to my car's new handling as much . . . but they will help in about a week or so when I get my car aligned after the the springs settle . . .
