picked up my stillens because didnt want to wait on the hotchkis. like everyone said, weight is almost negligible although the hotchkis are hollow vs stillen being solid. plus stillen are cheaper so i like that better.

I disagree. A swaybar is not just a swaybar. If that were the case then why not just keep your stock bars and call it a day? There is going to be a difference between the two but there is not enough information out yet. The neat thing is when some bars are adjustable. That makes it nice to dial in something you prefer.

the difference is BOTH hotchkis and stillen are stiffer than oem. now the difference between the 2 is not something 95% of the people on here will be able to tell.

WRONG. stillen rears are adjustable, but hotchkis front AND rear are adjustable.

Some misinformation here. Hotchkis is not adjustable in front, 3 setting in the rear. They are hollow even though the things weigh a ton: +7.5 lbs. more than stock to be exact.

Q) Are solid sway bars stronger hollow sway bars?

Answer: No. Sway bars work off of torsional force (twisting motion). Therefore, the material in the center of a solid bar plays little role in the resistance of torsional force. With this in mind, we have eliminated some of the center material and also moved some to the outside of the tube, where it is most effective. In turn, this produces a sway bar that is lighter in weight and just as stiff, if not stiffer than solid. For example, a 1'3/8" hollow bar is equivalent to a 1'1/4" solid. But the 1'3/8" hollow bar is 6% stiffer and 43% lighter than the 1'1/4" solid.

Front Sway Bar 35mm (Ø1-3/8") Hollow
Rear Sway Bar 27mm (Ø1.063") Hollow 3 Way Adjustable

Features:
• Lightweight, Durable 1 3/8" (35mm) Tubular Front Bar.
• Lightweight, Durable 1.063 (27mm) Tubular Rear Bar 3 Way Adjustable
• Premium mounting hardware including, greasable polyurethane bushings and heavy duty brackets.
• Finished in durable anthracite powder coat.

They are hollow FRONT & REAR
Front are not adjustable
Rear are 3 way adjustable

For the record, I am not argueing Stillen vs. Hotchkis....I have Stillen....got them for a Christmas present....and just put the front one one and came in to check something on another topic and saw this post.

Just to share. The Stillen are 27mm Front and 25mm Rear which are the same as OEM. I measured them so I could get the correct Energy Suspension bushings. I did not weigh the new front Stillen bar, but it definitely felt in the range of what Black Betty measured for the Hotchkis. Have not driven it yet, but it does look good.

stillen
solid
front non-adjustable
rear 2-way adjustable
re-use oem bushings

hotchkis
hollow
front non-adjustable
rear 3-way adjustable

See, there's a lot of differences and a bar is not just a bar. Now I agree, the difference felt between the two may be minimal but if we were tracking our cars it may make a big difference. Red looks better so that should be a factor as well. In fact, let's add color to the differences as well.

My bad! I shouldn't have assumed just because they are so damn heavy that they are solid. Editing my earlier post to not mislead anyone.

Bringing this back from the dead as I'm researching the two..

Front what I've read Still is 67% stiffer up front for the G37S, while the Hotchkis is 205% stiffer!! That is a big difference.

The rears are the same in terms of max stiffness since they're both adjustable..
