I just installed the H&R springs on my car.. WOW, she's slammed. I waiting for my rims to come in. I got wheels in 20X8.5 and 20X10 on the rear.. I got the 245 for the front and 275's on the rear.. I wanna make sure they are gonna clear without rubbing.. Not sure if anyone out there is running this setup such as 245/275 with the H&R's. I'm taking the car to infiniti tomorrow to get an alignment done, but i wanna make sure that the wheel won't rub. If they are gonna, then im gonna throw the stocks back, and perhaps order the Tanabe's.. They seem to drop the car a little (1" in the front and .7" in the rear, unlike the H&R's (1.2"F, 1"R)..
I appreciate any help.. Thanks..
I post the pics as soon as I get a chance to snap some pics..
I would wait a couple days and let the springs settle before you get it aligned... If you do it now and it settles a lil bit more then it will need aligned again...
Defiantly wait for the springs to settle. I would wait more than a couple of days. Just get out there and do some brisk driving from side to side. Will help out faster.
Yeah I understand that, the question is do you guys think I will any problems with the 20's rubbing? Do you think they will be able to get the alignment to spec with this drop? I was reading a couple other threads, and they mention the rear camber can be aligned to spec with the factory camber adjustments but then they mentioned that aligninig it to factory will cause the rear to rub.. It sucks because im gonna take it to the dealer to get the alignment cause all the shops around here don't have the specs for the 08 G.. I really don't feel like hearing the dealer feed me bs how it can't being aligned because its lowered, knowing they hate dealing with anything altered..
