Something, plated so it won't rust?

also, does anyone have any insight as to if the 13" rotors are the same as used on pre-2008 G35s? (assuming that's what they had).

I actually wrote to Stop Tech about cross-drilled rotors for the 14" and they said that they don't have anything yet. But they said that in a few months there should be a lot of them around. Just like everything else... WAIT.

companies like brembo and powerstop use metals like zinc, cadmium, and nickel to plate rotors so that they stay looking clean . Sure, it gets worn off the area where it hits the break pads but the outer portion where it vents and the portion where the wheel mounts keeps looking nice. On cheap uncoated rotors the whole thing gets rusty.
