I get almost no brake dust on my rims.

I just picked up the 37 with the sport package and I get almost no brake dust on these 19's. I had an 04 with the brembos and I would drive for an hour and my rims would be filthy. I drove the new one for 3 days after I washed it, and when I went to clean the rims there was barely anything. Anyone else notice ?

I dont think it has anything to do with the Brembos. I think it has more to do with the pad compound more than anything.

Yeah, believe it's the brake pads that's on the brakes. Prolly dustfree pads? I can't stand seeing cars with their front wheels looking darker than the rear. I see this often on BMW's and Lexus'.

Damn, my reason's of why to get a G just keeps getting longer.

Definitely noticed this as well, but I think ABQG35c is correct. My 04 G35 with stock pads were horrible. I changed them out with Hawks and dust went away. I think Infiniti learned their lesson with the previous generation.

YES YES YES!!!!!! I was going to say something about this as one of my remarks after driving HARD through the hills of Wisconsin for 750 miles. There is absolutely NO and I mean NO appreciable brake dust on my Sport wheels. The brakes were terrific the whole time, AND TRUST ME I WAS USING THEM!!

This is really uncanny and obviously has something to do with the compound. Whatever it is, hats off to Infiniti yet again

I had a workout getting all of the bugs off of my front end, but when I got to the wheels it was like "well now, where the heck is all the brake dust?" In city driving I'll bet you will barely kick up any brake dust at all. Simply amazing.

I think he would be referring to the Brembo pad compound and not the calipers or rotors. Therefore it would be the Brembos.

Brembo pad's... lol Remember, Saying "Brembo's" is a blanket statement when the company has pad's, brake lines, calipers, rotors, etc. It's best to be more specific, but I see your standpoint.

This is great news! I felt like I had to clean the rims everything I drove the car on my previous one. Now I can just focus on regular maintenance. When the time comes, I'll need to ensure I replace these pad with and equivalent brand. Does anyone know what kind of OEM pads Infiniti is using?

Yea OK. I was getting on them pretty good for a couple days and there was barely any dust when I cleaned them. Not to mention whatever dust is on there wipes off so easy because of the finish on these 19's.

It'd be nice to get a part number for the front and rear pads. Because if they're low-dust pads, I'll replace them with OE's every time
