My cover is gone but the mirror & assembly is still in place. If I order just the cover is it easy to install or do I have to order the whole assembly. Does anyone have a link & do they come already painted? Passenger side 2012 Sedan Malbec.

 

The cover just pops on with some clips. Takes all of two (2) minutes.
Finding a new replacement, in GAC (Malbec Black) will be next to impossible to buy here in the states. As US inventories get depleted, only unpainted units are being made available. I had to order a painted piece (pillar trim) from Japan as it was easier (and cheaper) than finding a shop to paint it. That said:

Of course you can always scour eBay and the like.

 

So I ordered from amayama. They took my money with a delivery date. Just got an email stating not in stock & expect a .5 - 1.5 month wait. Crazy. Guess I will ask for refund & keep looking.

 

Sorry to hear that, man. Usually they verify availability before having you complete the transaction. I'm sure they will issue you a refund promptly. I've used them for years with zero issues.

You might have no choice but to get one painted... a hassle for sure.
