anyone have experience with changing out the colors on these buttons? I'd love to make it blue to match my interior

i saw this on the 370z forum but it was a little confusing

Looks like that guy just shoved some colored paper behind, but you can solder on a new LED. Here is mine

So all Nissan push start buttons are essentially the same.
Sentras/altimas other cars bring a Blue LED
Quest/Maximas other cars bring an AMBER LED
Infinitis are WHITE LED

I used Quest guts to make mine light up Amber. You'll need a the switch off one of these cars and dissemble the board and install it in yours. Good luck.

Again, find yourself another Nissan with a blue light up button, disassemble it and put your covers on and that's it.

Not all buttons are the same trust me i have made and sold Thousands of them.

Correct. Though like many Nissan parts, Most 08-14 start/stop switches interchange.
If you want to change anything else other than main color it will require custom.
OEM swap will be limited to White/purple, blue, red, orange I believe.

which car comes with a blue one?

I've found the OEM is a blueish LED that comes with a greenish cover that can be removed to show the original cover
If you pay attention the switch assembly are all the same, disassembly of the switch will be required and all that it is is a board change
