Windshield Squeaking

Anybody seen this before and what is the fix if any. I’m thinking I will have to take off windshield to see what is rattling and squeaking. When I hit the windshield you can hear it.

The plastic cowl is causing it, it's a known issue. Take off cowl and add new padded foam tape to stop it

Sorry, been away. The cowl was off when I was hitting the windshield. If you watch the video It's something else under the front of the windshield. The dash maybe has something loose just under the windshield? Very strange.

Just for anybody anybody else having my issue (long old dead post I know). My issue was never the cowl. Cowl could be completely off and had squeaking from the windshield when driving. I also fixed the cowl ratting before this awhile ago with felt tape. What fixed it (I dunno how why). When jacking the car up a week or so ago on the front driver side to do some work, I lowered heard something almost like glass grating against something. Very strange. I immediately noticed no more squeaking from the windshield. 2 years of that was enough!! Not sure what this could be but some metal used under/near the windshield rubbing against it? I dunno. Just glad it's the squeak if finally gone.
