Door seal replacement?

So the passenger rear door seal on my car has been leaking since I bought the car. Nothing crazy, but at highway speeds the wind noise is quite noticable. I was about t order some new door stripping off amazon, however the existing seal on my car seems to tuck under the trim on the car side and on the door side. If I wanted to remove this stuff, I'm either pulling trim off my car or cutting it off. Has anyone out there replaced their seals? Am I missing something here?

Would like to get this done Tuesday before school starts, thank goodness for Amazon prime!

Do you have any pictures of the door seals you mentioned? Is it the interior door seal or the outer door seal? I would definitely suggest using Infiniti’s OEM door seals if you want to have 100% assurance of no noise.

Have a look at these pictures: https://imgur.com/a/wRNqWoF

Unfortunately I can’t tell which door seal needs replacing (I never sit in the back of my own car lol) so I was going to replace all of them.

To remove the interior door seals, remove the lower plastic scuff plates, but be gentle. Then you will have access to the lower door seal portions and all you have to do is just tear it off as they are held by the rubber suction. I have done this before for my interior conversion. I’ve got all seals for each door, but they are the stone color.

i assume your talking about the piece I have my finger on in #1? #2 has the yellow highlight on the same piece, red is the seal.

I tried giving those a small tug, it just feels as if it’s going to snap off the headliner. Am I missing something here? There’s nothing special that the seal attaches to in the door side it seams.

They're both part of the same trim piece. Just pull it, the headliner is still held on by about 8-12 Velcro strips around no where near the seals. I've done this a lot of times and was worried too, you just need to pull it out. Start from the bottom as it's the easiest to pull off, and then work your way up. If you need any of the seals I've got all 4 but in stone (tan/beige) color. Just make sure you remove the lower plastic scuff trim where the seal goes under to begin the process.

Try pulling the weather strip and push back in. If that doesnt help find location of leakmon weather at and put some extra weather strip between the edges to plump up area. Always put protectant like you use on interior to help with weathering issue. Hopefully it's not the triangle piece by the tweeter its 230 bucks for that piece

Thanks for the details! I’m going to try and preserve my trim pieces and see how the replacement will go.
