Can you buy JUST the clear plastic housing on the headlights

I backed into my G37 sedan and broke the clear plastic. Everything else in the light is fine. 2012 G37 Sport Sedan.

Thanks.

I'm 99.9999% sure that's a no since it's glued to the rest of the housing. Look for a used one.

100%, used is your cheapest bet.

Thank you. I'll go that route.

Incidentally, I see from this forum that the clear plastic can be taken off. However, no one seems to sell the clear plastic only. And all the busted ones are the clear plastic.

Sure, you could use the "bake" method where you put it in the oven at a low temperature to soften the adhesive and remove it. Then take the non-cracked one and secure it with new adhesive and hope it doesn't leak, which is fine if you want to save some $$. Honestly I'd rather just buy a good used one and swap them out.
