Here’s my new plan: when I can, I’ll try a junk yard and grab any and every Infiniti logo I can, bag em and tag em. I’d really like to find a proper replacement, but my power steering is hindering that. (Too damn expensive...)
I had my car detailed and I asked him to give the engine bay a once-over. After seeing a lot of these posts I decided to check mine and it was barely hanging on. I was surprised to see it's only held on by a few tiny pins, which break off quite easily. I pulled off the emblem as it was only held on by one last pin, wiped the area down with alcohol wipes, and applied some J-B Weld. Shouldn't be moving any time soon.
Seriously, not ONE person has seen fit to comment?
I tried acrylic epoxy, pouring into the missing emblem like a mold. Kinda worked. Then after some research, found out nail polish is enamel paint good to 450°. So I used black nail polish instead.
