Lost Infiniti Engine Cover Emblem

I'm not sure if the dealer stole it or what but my engine cover is missing the infiniti emblem. I only pop the hood to change the oil every 4 months or so. I also had to take the car to the dealer for a fuse issue. It was still under warranty. So where can I get a new emblem?

Note: not my engine cover. Used for reference only.

Unfortunately it happened to me too. The emblem somehow just jumped off.

The emblem is only held on by 4 tiny plastic "pins." They will pop off with practically no force at all. I bought a used cover off eBay for $30 and when I went to install the cover the damn emblem popped off right on the spot!

Best advice, get a used cover from eBay as you can't buy just the emblem. When it arrives carefully remove the emblem, add a few spots of epoxy (I used JB Weld) and reattach the emblem. Damn thing will never come off again.

FYI

The emblem from the 2001-2003 Infiniti QX4 FITS the engine cover. Mine fell off as well. I had some old Infiniti emblems from my 2001 QX4 laying around and it fit perfectly.

I was a local meet at the Infiniti dealer and they gave me a free one, apparently this happens to almost every VQ motor cover at some point. I used some Super Glue and haven't looked back.

I'd like to get the emblem without buying the whole cover. Do you know if the QX4 emblem came from the rear or the front?

Mine was separated from the engine cover but did not fall off. I simply super glue it back on. But with all that engine heat not sure how long it will stay on.

I'd go to your local junk yard and just pop one off with a pocket knife. As for buying the engine cover one specifically without purchasing the whole cover, good luck. Mine came off during an oil change, made sure to gorilla glue that sucker in place.

That's isn't the emblem for the engine cover. It's the emblem for the front grill. The engine cover emblem is a different size and flat on the underside. Best way I found was to buy a crappy engine cover on ebay, pop off the emblem. Clean it up then attach it with strong epoxy glue.
