Wipers not cleaning the same area?

So I decided to order some PIAA Si-Tech wiper blades since the ones of my car decided to chatter.. After installing the new wipers I noticed that they stop roughly an inch before the old ones would stop wiping.. I have a picture for reference.. is there anyway I can fix this or is it just how it’s gonna be now? Should I return those wipers? They are the exact same size as my old ones so I’m a little confused..

Has nothing to do with the wiper blades. It's your wiper arm that needs to be adjusted.

Did you pull the wiper arm off its splines for some reason?

Nah man I just pulled off the old wipers and put these new ones I didn’t touch the arm at all.. I don’t see how the arms can be the problem if when I put the old wiper back on, it went back to cleaning the same area as before

I had the same problem when I switched from OEM blades to Trico Flex blades (they last longer and clean better, in my testing).

Unscrew the bolt holding down the blade arm, pull off the arm, slightly shift it, and screw it back in. It may take a few tries to get it where you need them to be, but that's how you do it.
