Can you provide any details about your car? Year, Coupe/Convertible/Sedan? Looking at various parts diagrams the base might be available, depends on the car. LMK
Good question, sorry about that ILM-NC ! (& thanks a lot for your research!!!)
2013 G37x Sedan, Sports Pkg
This leads me to a separate question - how do I add my car details (above) to my profile/signature?
I don't see a way under "My Profile"...
Surely there is a better way than including it in "Biography", as below?
#1) BASE- OUTSIDE MIRROR- LH, P/N: 96308-JU40A ($30.40)
#2) PACKING- DOOR MIRROR- LH P/N: 96359-JU40A ($29.00)
Prices quoted from discountinfinitiparts.com as of 2/16/2019.
I was going to suggest buying a cheap, used mirror assembly off of eBay amd scavenge what you need but the prices for the new parts are quite reasonable. If I recall from when I did my mirror swap. The "hinge" portion- where the mirror attaches to the base- is held together by either 3 screws or a large nut. Either way it should be relatively easy to repair.
As for editing your biographical details I have no idea. Perhaps one of the moderators can chime in on that.
Weird that I called 2 dealers & a couple of aftermarket parts places & they said they couldn't source anything but the full assembly...
I'm traveling, but when I get back in early March I'll confirm which piece(s) I need, & that I can figure out how to separate the base from the mirror assembly at the hinge (if anybody has any tricks re. that, would love to hear it.)
Attached is a picture of a illustration showing how the mirrors are assembled. Please note this is for the Coupe/Convertible but I would imagine the same/similar for the sedan.
There are three bolts that secure the housing to the base. If I remember they are Torx head (or hex, never could tell the difference) bolts. When I installed the OEM/ JDM mirror "winkers," I remember the bolts were really tight so make sure you have the exact size tool to prevent stripping the head.
Good thing I saved those instructions....

Reason: Clarification
Design does not allow to feed power cord through the next part. Unless I'm missing something, feels lazy design, boo Nissan.
Feels 3 choices, would love your opinions
1) Cut wires (about in middle), reassemble, solder, shrink wrap.
2) Figure out how to disconnect & then reconnect the wires from the plug (seems must not be rocket science, but new to me)
3) Leave the wire assy as is, extricate it from the broken, to be replaced piece, and drill/cut out the new piece enough for the assy to fit through. Am aware/concerned of the loss of strength that would result though...
I will be brutally honest with you: removing the wires from the connector (depinning) is a bit*h and then some. It is not rocket science but unless you have a good set of metal picks or really small jewelers screwdrivers, releasing the lock tabs for each terminal will prove excruciatingly frustrating.
The easiest option would likely be cut/solder. That depends on how good your soldering skills are- I have none (no patience). Easier for me to depin (plenty of experience from my NAV swap days). I have a pdf copy of the Nissan Harness Repair Guide that might help shed some light...
In the end you will have to figure out what works best for you. Wish I could be of more help...

There are 2 steps to depin the connectors:
a) unlock the connector retainer; and
b) insert metal pick-type tool to unlatch the locking tab.
For this specific connector (TH12MW-NH):
Unlock the retainer:
Then insert the tool, get a feel for the hook, and lightly lift the hook while sliding the wire out:
It is not as easy as it sounds. It takes a lot of patience and you have to get a feel for that locking tab. I filed down a old jewelers screwdriver and that worked decently for me but even then it was a miserable task.
