i was just wondering does anyone use osram cbh, philip ultinon, or the philips blue vision ultra d2s?

 

General consensus is that the Osram 66240 CBI are one of the best bulbs to upgrade to. I love mine and I have had them for over 2 1/2 years with no issues.

 

how is the color on the cbi?

 

Perfect IMO. Whiter than the factory bulbs with a small hint of blue. Typically lumen output begins to drop when you start going over 4300k. Not with these.

 

thats weird because i got the osram CBB and for some reason its kinda white with some YELLOW which really confuses me........

 

Hmm..let me go look at mine real quick.

 

Not seeing any yellow in mine, Nice and crystal white (tiny tiny blue hint). My Diode Dynamics city lights (6000k) actually look less white with a tad bit of yellow. I would have posted a picture but my phone simply can't capture the difference. The city lights could have lost some of it's color/brightness perhaps to due to time, they are over 5 years old, not sure though. I still need to look at them from a distance too. Makes me want to change my city lights now, damnit lol.

 

maybe is should try the osram cbi then... btw what a city light? the drl?
