Help G37 Coupe OEM Spoiler Light Question

G37 Coupe OEM Spoiler Light Question
Hi 37ers,
I have the coupe with the OEM Spoiler with the light. I was curious if there was a way to have the light stay like the taillights when running, then get brighter when I press the brakes.
From what I've heard it's only turned on when you hit the brakes.
I've thought about tapping one of the brake lights and running a wire to have the spoiler light function the same.
Has anyone done this or put any thought into it?
