steering wheel hub came unraveled

oh oh, I was taking the wheel off and the entire spool of tape inside came undone. Am I effed? LOL What do I do???

are you referring to the clock spring it may also be called the cable reel? if so then yes, you should not have torn the damn thing apart, you can try to coil it back into the housing but you are taking a chance of multiple malfunctions including but not limited to srs, horn, steering angle sensor faults. good luck

Sorry man—clock spring. Will run you a few hundred bucks. Speaking from experience it's not the easiest repair. Don't bother trying to repair your existing one!

Will definitely need a replacement, they are very fragile, Check ebay for a used replacements. should be lots..

Junkyards are your friend! There are 2 g37 at the local one to my house. One I raped already and tore the clock spring moving to fast. the other is good I’ll try to grab it

Take this as a learning experience. If you've never done something do proper research before starting. I've been working on cars for 20+ years now and I still do research any time I mess with something new, even if I am sure of myself, just to make sure I don't get myself into a mess, like you've gotten yourself into.
