Window Auto up/down won't work

So my car was involved in a hit and run unfortunately one of the doors had to be replaced. However after the door was replaced the automatic function stopped working (I never really open my rear windows so it took me a month to find out) I tried to reset the window by holding up the button for 5 seconds for it still doesn't work. Any ideas? Maybe it's missing a piece or something?

In my experience I didn't have to. I just recently discovered this "reset" process for the windows which was great because the express-up had stopped working on all four. I rolled all the way down (not using express) then rolled all the way up and held for five seconds. It fixed all four of my windows.

Window Reset Procedure:

Roll window all the way down "manually" roll window all the way up "manually" and hold for 10 sec without letting go run fluid motion then release should be all set

That sucks. Unfortunately it sounds like you have something wrong that won’t be fixed by the window reset procedure. Sorry.
