so what was the difference u were asking for and how is the amount calculated? or does the insurance calculate that for u? i would guess not all insurance offers this since ive never heard of this lol

 

I didn't even get to that point with them. I wish I had taken screenshots of the listings I saw on cars.com and cargurus.com because the difference in value was pretty huge. Generally when discussing diminished value you make an offer that you think is reasonable and they'll make a counter offer so they don't have to pay as much then you try to come to an agreement.
