2008 Sport Bumper to 2011 Sport Bumper Swap Parts List & Prices

Hey All,

Sad as it is for me to say, I have just traded my 2009 G37S 6MT for a 2015 Q50S. Hurts to give up the G, but at least still in Infiniti family. The last thing I did on the G was to swap out the front end with the more aggressive 2011 Sport Bumper with the fog lights as the '09 always seemed to be missing it in the slots.

As I was cleaning up some files, I came across the entire parts list with prices and sources that I created while doing this project. Thought I'd share this in case someone is looking to do the same thing.

...hope the attachment works...

Congrats on the new car! I am sure you'll love it.

New bumper? Whoa. those totals are crazy. Me and my son have contemplated doing this to HIS 2009 as well. but I think if we were to do so, it would be via a donor car from a junkyard.

Thanks. So far it's a different change, but in a good way.

Yeah, overall it is a little steep, but the variable is the labor. That's probably something you can save and recoup all of it since everything is pretty much a direct replacement (except painting).

In my case, I had a little fender bender that dented the front of my old bumper and since I had to get a replacement anyway, it was perfect timing to execute the swap and upgrade. The more aggressive look and separate fog lights were definitely worth it to me.

But again, just thought I'd toss it up in case it helps anyone with part numbers, prices, or where to order from....

OP thank you very much for this list as I have been referencing it constantly so that I can plan out this swap.

My only question is how many of the second section parts are COMPLETELY necessary? From "2011 G37 Sport Bumper Cover Grommet" down to "2009 Vertical Support".

I'm swapping from an 09' G37x and I just really want to make sure I don't buy a bunch of unnecessary components.
Thanks in advance

$1600 in parts?

Does that included a painted bumper?

99.9% sure he included the paint in the $1000 labor cost total.
