I'm hoping someone can help... I've been reading and reading but can't find what kind of bulbs I can retrofit into my fog lights... Most of the threads are about seperate fog lamps or don't say... My fog lights are integral to my headlights...

My fogs have an h1 bulb... I've been looking at led and hid but don't really know what is feasible in these lamps...some LEDs have a canbus?

Also imI in Canada so my fogs also double as my day time running lights. I'm pretty savy with wiring so I think I can figure out how to deal with that... Unless there's an option that let's me keep my drl...leds maybe? Could I go with hid and remove the drl function?

Learned a lesson that using Google to search this site is way way better...

So to answer my own question yes I can do hid... With some rewiring of the drl... One thread rerouted the drl through the city light which I thought was a great idea.

Or I guess LED... but I couldn't find much information on if the h1 (my fogs are h1 bulb) LED bulbs can be run with my DRL...

More searching i guess...
