used a dremel to cut the back housing off n simply spray painted the interior chrome cover black, I used a soldering iron to pretty much weld plastic to plastic

Love the risk - well worth it for those results; that looks really good.

Run some water on the seam to test? If anything, I'd scoop up some clear silicone and smear a real thin seal along the cut. Backup layer in case weather causes the plastic to flex or something.

thanks for the advice, deffinently going to throw some silicone on for sure.

Exactly what I did when I smoked mine. Grabbed em off this forum for $140? Might try the same for the headlights.

black out the chrome trunk lip next is the chrome around the windows n then a black cherry vinyl wrap for the whole car

that looks great good work! and smart working with an extra set.

on a side note how much does that person weigh in the front? from the looks of it you have a faulty airbag sensor like many of us.

you need to also do the reverse lights, looks out of place with the different shades imo
