So today I swapped my OEM frosted map lenses with the GTR clear/ crystal map lenses and it came out amazing. Along with this, I swapped the OEM yellow incandescent bulbs to white/ super light blue LED bulbs and I am impressed. I have one question though: are there any rear map lenses that are crystal like the GTR that I can use to replace the OEM frosted map lenses in the back? Thanks!
Here are the before and after pictures:
OEM Lenses with incandescent bulbs
GTR Lenses with incandescent bulbs
GTR Lenses with LED lights
Rear Lighting (incandescent bulb left, LED lighting right)
I should've waited until night time to take the photos but I guess I was too excited
Those look good!! Where did you find the GTR lenses? I am about the purchase the new bulb replacements from Diode Dynamics for the whole interior and would install these lenses as well at the same time.

LED interior bulbs makes a huge difference for the price. I like the small amount of ambient lighting they give off when in the auto position too.
Are you talking about the small amount of lighting they give off while the car is driving? This happens to me and I like it but I am not sure if it's normal? Lol
Interesting, I have not noticed this with my car, but it could be because of the LEDs I am using.
What is happening is there is a small amount of current running through the circuit (why it does this is another topic). With incandescent bulbs, this small amount of current is not enough to light the bulbs at all, but LEDs require much less power to light so they light up a bit with this little current.
This happened with the license plate and side marker LEDs on my previous car (E46).
On a side note, I wish we could find clear lenses for the rear lights.
