Comfort Blinkers

Or soft-touch, one-touch, OTTS, 3-blink... whatever they are called. You can google any of those and get the same thing. I would like to add this feature. It is standard in most new automobiles and never came in our G. I, personally, like the 3-blink feature and would like to add it. I found two threads discussing it in the past (one here, the other I can not find again but it quickly derailed into a "i hate people that don't use blinkers, stop being lazy" thread).

I contacted a few companies but no one seems to really care or know to help me figure out if an existing product/module will work.

For those that do not know our indicators work like so: we hit blinker switch, switch tells BCM, BCM tells the lights what to do. In the past it was a complex series of relays and flasher units... you know, things that all have products that can add what I am looking for. I contacted a few people and gotten either no response or at least a "sorry".

Diode Dynamics' SmartTap would be ideal as i love the features, but does not work with our car. Great if you have a Subi or Toyota/Lexus.

The VW/Audi/Porsche peeps have a relay to hazard switch which works for them and with older cars or cars that still have relays for the blinker and route through the hazard switch.

The BMW guys made a custom module for their set-up which is still relays but without a flasher-unit and not routed through the hazard switch.

The newer American cars, however, work like ours where it goes from switch to BCU to lights. I contacted Web Electric Products and asked them if they knew it would work and they responded with:

"All the OTS modules are the same. They just have different installation
instructions.

Our modules are used on cars that have a ground input to the computer that
runs the lights. If the stalk on your Infiniti grounds the input to the
computer, you can use the module."

Great news... save I am not and electrical engineer nor savvy enough to tell if that's what our's does. I looked up the system in the FSM and it looks like it send a voltage signal, not a ground. I am asking two questions: Can anyone confirm what I am seeing and does anyone know of a module we can add to get this feature?

Links have been added to you can easily click and see products being spoken of and FSM pages attached. Thank you for any assistance that can be given.
