Who knows about body work

So I got my car back from the body shop repairing my hail damage. They replaced the trunk, roof, and hood. Obviously they had to repaint those pieces, but they didn’t blend any of the body to the new paint work (I still have minor paint issues on the pillars that were there before the body work.) Has the paint process changed or should they have blended the panels to match the new paint?

Thanks guys!

I’m just sho Jes the shop did so many crappy things. I’ve had work done there before and they are an approved body shop for Hyper cars. Of course most of the work they do is on 60-100k cars.

Yes They should have blended a d recleared. Did you cut some deal with the shop to cover your deductible and that's why they didn't repair correctly

Nope, paid full deductible. Took them almost 2 full months of having the car. Here is the work I’m specifically referring to. This is just an example. The other side has the same thing.

It really makes sense to blend. I’m really not happy with a lot of the work they did. I’ll take pics of everything they messed up. Long story short, they will probably be replacing my interior driver door panel.

i believe if u go straight to ur insurance and explain the job they did ur insurance should assist you with either going somewhere else or getting the shop to do the job correctly. at least thats how helpful my insurance was. they said if im not satisfied let them know and they will handle it
