So this happened a little while, the passenger side of my front bumper appears to be pushed in slightly. Aside from the scuff which I'm trying to figure out how to clean off. I'm trying to figure out some of the options I might have as far as getting this all cleaned up and fixed.
Any suggestions are welcomed and appreciated, thanks! Apologies if this thread is in the wrong place, wasn't sure if this was supposed to be in exterior body or car care.
Meguiars ultra-cut (105) will take off all the paint transfer. Only way to deal with the rest is a body shop. You might try giving it a hard smack with the palm of your hand near the seam to see if the clips will pop back in place.
the bumper needs to be replaced and if the clip is no good then that too. ur fender is slightly screwed too. repaint and blend will cost a lot so hopefully u can jus pay deductible and get it done properly. or if u dont want to repair everything buff off and touch up but wont be as pretty but would be good enough if u dont care lol

Won't be using insurance on this one. I'm willing to spend a fair amount just looking for ball park estimates. I've been seeing a lot of people selling IPL bumpers, would it be worth trying to find one and then getting it installed? That's an upgrade I definitely consider as well
Looks to me like you can easily buff the fender, and paintless dent repair the ding. That will save you on a paint blend on the fender, cutting down on costs.. The bumper is definitely saveable, meaning you dont need to replace it to repaint, but it will require a little work before painting. They can even blend half the bumper if needed. I know several guys who can easily repair this.
100 for the dent in the fender and fender buff, and 275 to repair and blend bumper. If youre looking to repaint the entire bumper, expect to pay around 600 for good work....
For a quick fix, wipe it all down on a cool day (or in the shade) with lacquer thinner, most the transfer will come right off....

That would be pretty awesome, would you be able to refer me to any of these guys? I was able to clean off a portion of the transfer with some compound.
Lol Yikes! In all seriousness, you might want to consider having it professionally detailed instead of a body shop working on it. The shop is just going to replace the parts; or, jack up the price if the bumper is still attached.

Yeah it seemed like a lot, but then again I have no file when it comes to body shop costs.
Remove wheel well liner and see if you can push the fender a bit. grab some touch up paint and some cutting agent and go from there. If you're feeling ballsy, apply heat and see if you can mold that bumper a bit.
