Can't decide what color to run for my IPL foglights. So you guys choose for me. Factory HID's in the headlight. Choices for foglight are 5000K (White but more white than OEM) HID, 3000K (Yellow-Hella JDM YO) HID, or Just an LED H11 bulb. Thanks for playing.

 

I vote 3000k. I believe apart from looks it's also the most functional color.

 

I agree with this is a time to go the Function route vs. Form, as Yellow light waves cut through fog much better than White.

 

What color is your vehicle?

My coupe is graphite shadow. I did 4300K HIDS in the fog lights and it looks great, like the Q50. Yellow IMO looks best on black cars, but reminds me of Honda folk.

I went 5000.

 

the trend is 5000 - 6000 Kelvins

 

If you actually want to use your "Fog Lights" for driving in Foggy conditions, the more Yellow the better. If you're just going for "Show", whatever looks good to you will work.
